This is 63-storey mixed-use signature tower with a total height of 300m, located along SZR, across from Dubai Mall metro station. Tower is connected via link bridge with the adjacent 11-storey car park building. Architectural concept design was done by the UNS Architects, while local architect is U+A. Due to twisted shape of the structural design was a challenge, and required combination of different structural systems – composite structure was largely used for vertical elements, with RC / PT slabs and beams.

DDE has joined the project mid-way through construction stage on the request of the developer (WASL) and our role was to work with the contractor and local consultants to develop final detail design of the half-completed tower, to re-check existing structure and confirm structural integrity of the final design.
