Derby Design Engineering was initially established in the year 2008 as the Dubai branch of the Abu Dhabi registered company (Derby Design Engineering Consultancy). Since then Derby Design Engineering, Dubai was gradually transformed into an independent engineering consultancy with full accreditation in the emirate of Dubai. Under the strong leadership of a visionary engineer Predrag Eror, DerbyDesign Engineering has rapidly grown into a modern engineering practice and has secured its place on the UAE and MENA market as one of the major players in the structural design.
Predrag has trained a loyal and capable team of engineers and technician, able to support him on his mission. In an exceedingly competitive market environment, DerbyDesign Engineering have specialized in providing high value engineering services to architects, clients, and contractors, ensuring that the most competitive structural design is used and the finished project is of a highest standard. A unique feature of Derby Design is its background of working directly for contractors – ensuring a rigorous approach and providing precise detailing necessary for on-site construction works.
We seek to balance the creative architectural requirements with the need for ‘constructability’ and necessity to operate within budget and programme constraints. By taking advantage of a multi-national base and the growth of e-communication, the company can provide highly competitive services that allow for rapid document preparation to international and local standards whilst maintaining an intimate presence in individual markets.

Our team consist of highly educated and skilled staff that includes Civil/Structural Engineers, CAD/REVIT Technicians, experienced and dedicated Site Resident Engineers as well as a team of Administrative officers. Predrag has personally trained a team of our engineers who have excellent knowledge on all relevant codes of practise, have extensive experience with structural design and are able to use wide range of computer software necessary for project execution.

He has over 35 years of professional engineering experience and he has work all over the world (Middle East, Central Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Australia, South-East Asia, Europe). Predrag has extensive experience with design of challenging structures such as super high-rise buildings, twisted towers, extra-long free span buildings and all other challenging structures and structural shapes. Using his experience and knowledge and by applying various structural systems and design techniques he can solve all structural problems to satisfaction of Architects, Clients and Builders. Throughout his career, Predrag was working together with some of the most acclaimed international architects / architectural companies and clints on landmark projects such as:
- Wasl Tower Project, signature twisted tower at SZR, Dubai, with U+A & Warner Sobek Stuttgart
- Indocean Apartments Residential Towers project in Colombo, Sri Lanka, designed by world famous architect Moshe Safdie.
- Ocean Heights Residential tower project in Dubai Marina, designed by architect Andrew Blumberg of Aedas Architects
- Singapore National Library Project, designed by architects T.R. Hamzah & Ken Yeang
- Dubai Metro Project – He solved demanding structural requirements of expert in this field, Mr. Boran Agoston / Aedas architect’s
- Discovery Primea, High-rise tower in Manila, Philippines, designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange;

With 20 years of local (UAE/ Middle East) experience she has become known in the construction industry in the region and has established good relationships with the local clients and authorities.
