Crescent Development Baku is mega development in the center of New Baku City, covering land area of 600,000 m2 and comprises Onshore and Offshore structures. Onshore structures include Office Tower, Shopping Mall, connected Residential Tower and Town houses and Offshore structure include La Luna Hotel built on a manmade lagoon. The project also has a road bridge, podium and underground car park structure that is partially built under the lagoon. This is a complex structural design with many structural challenges due to high seismic zone and extreme wind loads as well as demanding task of design coordination with other design disciplines.Office tower design was completed in 2014-2015, and it is almost completely constructed now, while other Onshore structures are fully designed and currently under construction
